Her final position was the executive chef of Butter. Guarnaschelli competed on Food Network's Iron Chef America in 2007. She took on Cat Cora at the Farmers Market Battle of 2007 and she won. She also participated as the season's third runner to the winner of The Next Iron Chef, and has been an Iron Chef judge ever since. Also, she lost in her final competition, the Food Network Challenge Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast.
